Jesse grew to know plants by walking in fields and forests, growing them in gardens and using their medicines.

• Apprenticed with Guido Máse,

• Worked on several herb farms including Zack Woods with Jeff and Melanie Carpenter, Amy Goodman Kiefer’s herb farm and an herb farm in Sicily.

• Learned about herbs by drawing, making teas and medicines.

• Has taught botanical art classes and creates art from the settings of herb farms and gardens.

• She is also certified in permaculture and regenerative design.
